About this listen

A Powerful Firsthand Look Into a Notorious Legacy

As a Dominican living in Orlando, FL, I’ve followed the story of Carlos Lehder closely for years. His name constantly surfaces in the countless podcasts and books I’ve consumed about the Medellín Cartel—but this book gave me something I hadn’t experienced before: his own voice. Hearing Carlos share his perspective on his life, choices, and the inner workings of that era was absolutely captivating. The storytelling is vivid, and the narration brings his journey to life in a raw, humanizing way. Whether you’re deeply familiar with the history or just beginning to explore it, this book is an essential listen. Highly recommended.

Different view of the Medellin Cartel

The descriptions are good. This was from the perspective of the man who used to move the drug around for the Medellin Cartel.

Awesome story, sounds honest

This story put together all the terrifying news that Colombia and the world recieved about Pablo Escobar in the cartel de Medellin in the 1980s and 90s.

The accurate description

I do liked a lot, it’s so sad to know to someone so old having all these memories and memories some He regrets and some others that He treasures like family and wifes and kids
But it’s important for all of us to remember and from this , to teach ourselves and others about this world and the temptations that all those young fellow faced and the wrong decisions He made

Excellent

I really enjoyed listening to Carlos Lehder story. I was a teenager in Colombia when all of that happened. I remember the news and the bombs in Bogota when I was in hight school. I personally feel so sorry that Carlos has to spent all those years on jail.
I wish him the best of the rest of his life in Germany.
God bless you

Me encanto!
