Good Book

This was an Good Book. But, the narration wasn't Good. I just wanted to finish the book. The book was interesting, but like I said, the narration wasn't. The ending was Good, also.

Good in its own way.

So this is a typical Harlequin. Its predicable in a lot of ways, but truthfully I probably would of liked it better if I had read it in paper form. The narrators kind of ruin it for me. This has happen to me before with similar books to these. If you don't have the time to read the book, its a great alternative just to be able to listen to the story. I recommend listening to it at time and a half speed at least.

Not a fan of male narrators in romance

This is probably just a personal taste thing, but I'm always leery of male narrators in romance novels. It's just weird all around for me. This one did a better job than many, but I still can't help seeing the h as a drag queen with giant man hands when I listen to any male narrated romance. Of course there are some women who do a horrid job with the male voice, but I still find myself highly preferring the female narrators.

Waste of Time

Struggled to finish it, the lead male is an ass, overbaring without relent and the heroine is a simpleton that extremely annoying. No chemistry just alot of referencing there is an attraction, eventually I started jumping ahead to see if anything might make me want to go back and continue the story. Nothing did.

Juvenile

This could have been a much better story but the female character was so pathetic, juvenile, weak and whiney. I can not find anything positive to recommend this book. Boring, boring, boring!!!

One of the most cringingly stupid girls I have ever listened to...well I had a hard time not yelling at her.

She had the emotional security of a 16 yeast old. I usually love harlequin, but to me, this was a loser.
