About this listen

Two worlds collide at the most unlikely place…

Nicole Upshaw can’t fall for the sexy Italian guy at the grocery store, not if the simple act of speaking to him could end in a life or death situation with her boyfriend. But Vito is persistent, and Nicole finds him hard to resist.

Vito DeLuca runs into a beautiful woman at the store. Even though he knows she’s hiding something dark and dangerous, he can’t stop his attraction. When she calls him in a panic, that’s when she becomes his to protect.

Vito DeLuca was originally in the Savage Bloodline Collection but has been revised with new content added.

This book may be triggering for anyone sensitive to domestic violence, grief, and gun violence.

The DeLuca will do anything for the one they love, and Vito is no different when it came to Nicole.

Love how the DeLuca family cherish, protect and provide for the black women they love. I honestly would've left that crazy ex when Vito asked the first time but hey lol. Great read and the vitural voice wasn't bad although I still prefer real voices.

Beautiful

Vito and a Nicole did not have a traditional beginning. Vito’s past played a role in his protective nature. Nicole was lost I a cycle of abuse and loss. She was turned out by her parents they did not respect her choice. Cut off from her friends and any other support. Her life was not her own. Until the day she chose to make a stand and get out.

Virtual voice is better than text to speech but it is not a good replacement for a good narrator. I would listen for free but not buy. One listen is all the virtual voice can get from me right now. There is nothing there that would have me coming back for more.

Short and intense

I like the whole story line, but the narration has no feeling so it didn't do the story line any good.

the narration was dry
