VocabuLearn: Vietnamese, Level 2 is a USELESS product. It is simply a list of many common Vietnamese words. The audio is far too fast to learn any of the vocabulary, with only a very short pause between words and no easy way to rewind back to the previous word. There is no word list included in this Audible version, which would have made this product partially useful with an actual way to keep up with the audio. While Audible.com lists that a text is not required, it certainly is. At the beginning of the audio you are informed that you may purchase a textbook for an additional fee, after having already paid full price at Audible.com. I took it upon myself to e-mail Penton Overseas about this only to receive poor customer service with the final answer being that you must purchase the textbook from Penton Overseas at an additional cost, even if you have already paid full price for this product at Audible.com. Take it from me, if you wish to increase your Vietnamese vocabulary, save your money and purchase a product which includes all necessary material.

Useless audio tape with no text, it had a text in the cassette version but Penton Overseas doesnt think you need the one
designed to accompany it. The Vocabulearn Penton series REQUIRES a text booklet of the random order of words and the corresponding audio file. This is only the audio file. Corresponding is another way to say necessary, a total waste of money, Audible and Penton Overseas should make these texts available to us customers who purchased them online here, especially for those of us who purchased more than one language in this series at the same time, only to find out they are useless without the texts, they are useless without the texts, do something about it Audible and Penton.
