About this listen

Guardians Up! For Lewa!

The enormous aliens known as Gimfa attacked the planet Lewa, and the Guardians thought they took them down. But instead, the aliens established a beachhead on the colony world and are readying a larger army to eliminate humanity once and for all. First Earth and now Lewa… unless the Guardians can stop them.

More of the advanced Guardians are in development and may be ready to stand alongside Vortex Stingray and the others as the Galactic Alliance joins humanity’s effort to clear Lewa of the Gimfa. And more aid may be coming, if they can get the portal system operational. But as Duncan Black readies the site, President Maria Rodriguez and her government find themselves facing a Gimfa uprising at multiple locations across the planet.

Stretched thin, human defenses struggle to repel the threat, and even the untested crew of the newest Guardian, Volunteer Fury, is thrown into the fray, alongside surprising new allies and trusted old friends.

If Zaniah Mott can’t lead the Guardian Corps to victory, then—like Earth—Lewa will be lost!

In a Nutshell: Author must've been in a rush or something, this was probably the worst book in the series.

Long version: Book 4... it uh, it was "okay" - Although it kind of wrapped things up and wasn't a total cliff hanger, it felt incredible rushed and poorly executed. There were many plot holes, and inconsistences. Don't get me wrong, it was a good read up until roughly Chapter 17 or so... then it went from an awesome book (4/5) to a book that felt like it was trying to be over about 5 chapters ago and is just sloppily wrapping things up. (2/5)

Action's good if you ignore the facts laid out by the previous chapters and books, the story's alright, and it past the time I guess. - Narrator did a good job with the voices.

All in all if you had to rank the books:

#1 Book 3 (5/5)
#2 Book 1 (4/5)
#3 Book 2 (4/5)
Book 4 made me almost feel guilty to write a review. (2/5) and I went from wanting more books and perhaps even a movie to gritting my teeth and finishing the series... What happen?

Well... that took a uh... a turn.

weak dialogue, flat characters, unimaginative story line. Really, the only reason to listen is if you've already listened to the good space operas.
