Most people have no idea.

Most people have no idea what police work is, what all it entails, and the toll it takes on the few brave enough to do it. This book is a fantastic start to understand.

Wonderful stories of our nation’s finest

No one tells a better story than James Patterson. His nonfiction books are the best.

Good stories, voicing them so-so

Good material. Compelling stories. Wasn’t thrilled with the voice acting or some of the accents the actors tried. I felt this detracted from the gravitas of the material and that is really unfortunate.

Amazing work!!!

I really appreciate the stories about the officers and some of their experiences. I wish more people could hear and understand what it takes to work in their field. Thanks!

Enjoyed it very much

It's hard to listen to this book and not appreciate the very difficult and dangerous work that these men and women face every day. My thanks to all of you for your service and devotion. We would be so screwed without you.

interesting collection of stories

I enjoyed hearing the real life stories from current and former cops. It helps show that they are real people. one of the narrators was very distracting with his fake southern accent. I almost didn't stick with the book but I am glad that I did!

The Blue Family shines in this one

I greatly enjoyed hearing the law enforcement perspective. It is their "human" shining through. Feelings and emotions just like all people. They act accordingly while on the job like so many people are expected to do. Thank you.

Valuable insight

I appreciated a deeper look at what the men and women who, protect, and serve, actually face every day unknowingly as they go to work to protect us. I have always been appreciative of their service, and this collection of stories, just cemented their value, their contributions, their loyalty, and their desire to help protect a humane and just society.
