Your greatest weapon - for good or evil - is in your mouth.

From best-selling author Dr. Tony Evans comes a compelling resource to help you learn to tame your tongue. With life-changing insights shared through engaging lessons and anecdotes, you'll learn what the Bible teaches about talking:

  • Discover the power of the spoken word to bolster your faith when you're doubting.
  • Discern what should or shouldn't be said so that you honor God with your speech.
  • Develop the ability to praise God and voice wisdom even in tough circumstances.

The Power of our Words

Another awesome God-inspired book. Learned a lot through his examples and the word of God. Great book to help increase our love for one another as well as for developing a conscience that will not grieve the Holy Spirit with our words.

The speaker was distracting but the message was great.

I think I'll read this book a few more times to grasp the message even more. Some of the messages I didn't agree with, like, God wants us to be his slaves and flattery is evil (strong word), homosexuality is a sin.

I appreciated what the author was trying to convey and enjoyed learning more about direct quotes from the Bible and how they related to speech.

The speaker was annoying. I could tell he was over enunciating words (like "our") and it was just distracting from the authors message.

Not Tony Evans' voice

Mirron Willis is a fine, professional speaker, but not Tony Evans.

I have listened to Tony Evans on Christian for years. It was difficult for me to hear/understand his dialect at first. This difficulty only made me listen more carefully giving me a greater appreciation of his work. This is not Tony Evans' voice, a voice I trust.
