About this listen

This story was cute, good pacing for the length and on par for similar stories. However the AI narration took away for the overall experience.

AI is Off putting

The ai narration was surprisingly better than expected but still not good and it kinda took away from the story.

The story itself was fine but book very much so surface level. I would say it’s exactly what you would expect for a 5 hour.

It was okay

The story was good… entertaining, but I would never purchase a title with this type of narration!!

Narration was only OK

I really like the determination of the main character. I like that being married and a parent didn't keep him from his goals.

How others viewed the main character stood out the most.

its a bit different from what I normally listen to or read but I enjoyed it

not bad

I agree with the previous reviews that the AI narration left a lot to be desired. The story line itself was cutesy. Not exactly original but to be honest nothing is really original when it comes to art of any caliber. Honestly I’d really enjoy it if there was yaoi type medium release for this!

AI kinda ruined it

This was a very basic introductory ABO/were story. Experienced Fujoshi and ABO fan here: Nothing really original or that exciting happened in this story but it was ok for newbies to the genre and sub-genre to listen to without getting traumatized… there are some absolutely fantastic ABO stories out there but they tend to involve a lot of drama and trauma. Not this story though. This was more like a school drama mixed with a contract marriage resulting in instant love. I do wish it had explained ABO and Fated Mates better so as to make that instant love make more sense for the newbies.
As for the AI narration. It wasn’t the worst narration I’ve heard but it certainly wasn’t good either. Odd pronunciation, monotone, and rather awkward smexy scenes.

Basic ABO

So, this was the first time I’ve listened to an audiobook read by Virtual Voice. For an AI voice it was better than I expected, to be fair. The tone was good and it sounded like a real person. However, occasionally it did lean toward wooden-sounding and the pronunciation of a few words was a bit odd (like the heavy emphasis on the O in omega). Overall, it was better than expected but I’d still rather listen to a real narrator.

Story-wise, this book wasn’t bad but it was very formulaic and not original. An alpha and omega in some sort of fighting school who only distantly know each other are suddenly forced into an arranged marriage. The villain is extremely two dimensional. This feels a lot like a YA novel but with one sex scene.

Interesting
