1. Max leistet sich einen Weihnachtsbaum: Max ist am Heiligen Abend auf dem Markt unterwegs. Seine Mutter Olga ist im Krankenhaus. Er hilft einer reichen Frau den Tannenbaum zu tragen. Die Frau schickt ihn allein zu sich nach Hause. Jedoch trägt er den Baum zu sich heim und stellt ihn im Hof auf. Die Nachbarn kommen und singen Weihnachtslieder. Der Baum brennt lichterloh. Max ist traurig und hat ein schlechtes Gewissen.
2. Und alles ist wunderbar: Matter ist am Heiligen Abend im Krankenhaus und hat Schmerzen im linken Bein. Kalle sind Zimmernachbar macht sich nichts aus Weihnachten. Matter reißt aus und geht zu seinem Vater und dann zu seiner Mutter. Dort ist er zuerst allein...
