About this listen

He lost his twin, but he intends to keep his pack.

When head bullfighter Denton is killed by a demon bull, his twin, Denver, comes back to take his place. Denver was gone for years, working mundane rodeos and missing his twin. He's not sure the pack can heal him since the other bullfighters challenge Denver at every turn. All except Blaine, who’s an outcast himself, and who knows Denver is like no one he’s ever met.

Blaine knows he has no place in the pack Denton created, but Denver is different. Denver makes his wolf heart sing. Can he help heal Denver from his twin’s loss, and find his own place in the greater scheme of things?

Entertaining Romp

The story was fun, I especially appreciated the other magical beings besides just werewolves that made the would feel more full and interesting. The narration was engaging and the different voices helped keep things interesting. The book is fairly short, but if you’re looking for a cheesy werewolf romance with lots of power play, look no further.

Really enjoyed it!

Really enjoy BA Tortuga's stories. They embrace home, family relationships and love. This story was all about the family you make; in this case wolves, cat shifters, demons all belong to a rodeo family. Memorable characters and a really good narration by Luke Atticus made this a lovely way to enjoy the story.

Short and Sweet!

This is such a fun and short story. I really like the whole cowboy shifter type of story. Blaine and Denver are prefect together. Then we have Luke Atricus who brings the characters to life. It is great when a narrator brings the story to life.

Love the Midnight Rodeo, not the performance.

Prefer the ebook. Felt the narrator lost his place while reading. Voices didn't match characters.

I love the story

I enjoyed the story when I read it but the audio not so much. The narrator's attempts at accents and different voices fell a little short and felt forced. Again, I love this author’s work but this was a little meh for me.

Great story, great narration

BA writes the best rodeo stories ever. I love how mellow the cats are especially Dmitry. the narrator did an excellent job of giving voice to each in a memorable, but not obnoxious way. it really brought the story to life
