David Jeremiah
For many people worry, anxiety, and fear are constant companions: fear of death, fear of danger, fear of disease. And too often these fears are crippling, keeping us from the lives God has called us to live.
But it doesn't have to be that way, says Dr. David Jeremiah. As Christians we have been given all we need in order to face down even the most frightening, unexpected, and overwhelming obstacles in life.
In his new audiobook, What Are You Afraid Of?, Dr. Jeremiah explores the top 10 fears that are holding so many of us back from the lives God has called us to live and shares the supernatural secrets for facing down these fears with faith.

“Dr. David Jeremiah explores nine fears that hold so many of us back from the life God has called us to live: disaster, disease, debt, disconnection, disapproval, danger, depression, and death.”
I would like to share a few notes I jotted down from this book.
1. “Step out of the comfort zone into the fear zone and say yes to our Lord.”
2. “With confidence, let your actions put your fears to flight.”
3. “Read the Bible to change who we are. Disobey and your fears remain. Obey and your fears depart. If a person’s Bible is falling apart, it’s owner is not.”
4. “Faith and hope which are anchors of the sole can restore our lives back to God.”
The chapters on disconnection and disapproval really tugged at my heart strings. David Jeremiah really did an outstanding job on the chapter on death which was a great help to me. However,” God is the biggest Fear of All”! I am not going to spoil the experience. I am going to have you read and enjoy this very special last chapter on your own. This is a topic children always question and we need to be prepared to answer.
