They gave up their daughter—and each other. Twenty years later, she’s back… and so are the feelings they thought they buried.

Becca has built a life she thought she could live with. A husband. A home. A quiet kind of peace. But she’s never stopped aching for the baby she placed for adoption—or the boy she gave her heart to in high school.

Finn has spent two decades haunted by what they lost. He respected Becca’s wishes to walk away, but he never stopped loving her. And now, their biological daughter wants to meet them both.

When fate pulls Becca and Finn back into each other’s lives, old wounds resurface—along with a love that never really died. But forgiveness doesn’t come easy, and neither does healing.

Can they rebuild what was torn apart all those years ago? Or will the truth break them all over again?

A heart-wrenching, heat-filled small-town second-chance romance about first loves, lifelong regrets, and rewriting the ending they never got.

This was my first contemporary romance book and I was a bit on the fence but figured Id give it a shot and loved that I did. The story went at a great pace where there weren't any dull points leaving you wanting more. There were points where I was frustrated (in a good way) wanting to walk into the book and make it happen, but once everything unfolds its such a beautiful ending leaving you loving every emotion from the beginning to end. There is some good spice in there as well which made this a solid all around fun listen. Audio was clean and clear. Easy to understand. Raven did such an amazing job bringing all the characters to life and their personalities. The way she brings the emotion into the story really makes you feel like you are right there in that scene, and honestly hit the heart strings a bit on a few parts ill admit.

Great story and performance!
