About this listen

Live streams turn deadly.

Vacations morph into ritualistic nightmares.

Morning showers lead to paralysis and third-degree burns.

This story collection from best-selling horror author Connor Phillips exposes the hidden fears that haunt our everyday lives.

Phillips’ creepy and disturbing tales prey on fears you didn’t even know you had. From slipping in scalding showers to tumbling head-first into notorious zoo exhibits - these stories take our normal, everyday reality, twist it, and conjure scares that will haunt you long after you finish the last chapter.

If you love horror tales this book is for you especially the story of "The Gamer" I'll never look at the game "Call of Duty" in the same way ever again. There are stories in this book that you truly don't want to listen to in the dark especially alone. The tales are sick and twisted some more than others I can't say I like each story because that would be a lie but the majority of them are phenomenally written and ultimately frightening. I highly recommend this book to anyone over eighteen who loves true horror. Dean Ruple did a fantastic job as narrator especially during the more frightening complex stories. I received this book for free and this is my honest unbiased review it is definitely worth listening to or reading.

The narrator does an awesome job. A few of the stories are quite good. Most of them are just words thrown together without enough context or closure to even be called a complete story.
