About this listen
The media is lying to you about the supposed horrible state of the world, and we swallow it - hook, line, and sinker.
While the news focuses on homicides, brutal terrorist acts, and warnings about global diseases, they are telling only part of the story.
In this meticulously researched audiobook, J.D. King gathers stories, statistics, and relevant data to prove his point that the world is improving.
Written to encourage you during these tumultuous times, Why You've Been Duped into Believing That the World Is Getting Worse presents a hopeful view of what’s happening around the globe.

Story
Many Christians say they are traveling into the heavens, but others are not convinced that "spiritual travel" is used by God. The reason could be that no one has provided convincing evidence showing how it is different from astral projection. Far from being restricted to the occult, spiritual travel is actually a tool that is intended to be used by God to accomplish His divine purposes. With his down-to-earth style, Praying Medic provides Bible-based teaching, dozens of testimonies, and simple illustrations that will help even the least experienced person understand spiritual travel.

What does the Bible really say about the end times? There are so many Christians teaching outrageous speculation about end times Bible prophecy these days. The scriptures are an essential aspect of the Christian faith. But we have often equated them with the living Word himself, even elevating them above the One to whom they point. In doing so, we have distorted their central message - and our view of God. Tragically, this has caused multitudes of people unnecessary doubt, confusion, and pain in their encounters with the scriptures.

"No matter what happens over the next few hours and days—everyone, remain calm. This is not the end, but only the end of the world as we know it...." Unfortunately, when some people read the phrase “end of the world”, they envision cataclysmic scenarios that involve apocalyptic doom and global destruction. They tend to see all chaos and crisis through this negative lens, and sadly, it destroys their hope for the future. This is not that kind of message!

Story
Past and present civilizations failed and fail for many reasons, but the number-one predictor of a civilization’s survival is its sense of religion—or lack thereof. So argues David Goldman in How Civilizations Die (and Why Islam Is Dying Too). The strength of a civilization’s religion affects its purpose, its fertility rate, and ultimately, its fate, says Goldman—who then argues that, contrary to popular belief, Islamic countries are in the last throes of death while Christian America is in a position to flourish.

Story
Winner of Oprah's first "Chutzpah Award" for boldness, Irshad Manji is among the world's most visible - and vocal - Muslim reformers. In this audio book, narrated by her, Irshad explains the disturbing attitudes with which too many of her fellow Muslims practice Islam today: Arab cultural tribalism posing as pure faith. An uncritical approach to the Quran as the final and therefore superior word of God. And a rejection of universal human rights as if they are incompatible with the Divine.

Story
Despite the human race's extraordinary capacity for invention and progress, we clearly have a millennia-old blind spot in one all-important area: We don't understand evil -- what it is, how it works, and why it so routinely and effortlessly ruins our lives. Put another way, we don't understand ourselves.

Story
In this visionary book, Dennis Prager, one of America's most original thinkers, contends that humanity confronts a monumental choice. The world must decide between American values and its two oppositional alternatives: Islamism and European-style democratic socialism. Prager makes the case for the American value system as the most viable program ever devised to produce a good society. Those values are explained here more clearly and persuasively than ever before.

Story
In The War on the West, Douglas Murray shows how many well-meaning people have been fooled by hypocritical and inconsistent anti-West rhetoric. After all, if we must discard the ideas of Kant, Hume, and Mill for their opinions on race, shouldn’t we discard Marx, whose work is peppered with racial slurs and anti-Semitism? Embers of racism remain to be stamped out in America, but what about the raging racist inferno in the Middle East and Asia?

Story
Abortion and critical race theory are twin evils born of the same diabolical monster: racism. And yet, there are many in the church who want to call them good, even as America begins to unravel under their influence. In Eraced, John Amanchukwu Sr. dispels the myths surrounding abortion and critical race theory, and uncovers the Left's sinister plot to destroy the Black community and divide the church. Along the way, he brings to light important gospel truths to help all believers learn to think biblically about some of the most important and explosive issues of our day.

Inspirational and informative
One of the most uplifting books I’ve read in quite some time. The doomsayers won’t have the last word, the Kingdom of God is growing into a great reality.

Most encouraging Book !
Most encouraging Book I’ve listened to in quite awhile. You will be shocked by how the doom and gloom, The ten spies news networks manipulate what they want you to believe. God is Good, Almighty and will bring about His Kingdom like He promised in Christ Jesus! 🎉🙌✝️🕊

Brought great hope!
A wide span of Christianity is so fear-driven, but this book articulated the hope of a good father and bright future for believers. Really enjoyed the read. Highly recommend.

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED
I have been a Christian for over 21 years and I was underwhelmed by this book. The title of it made me believe it would have a lot of scripture tied to events and other ways to prove that things aren't what we have been told they are. This book is basically 15 chapters of stats of how Christianity has spread throughout the world and how other religions like Muslims are dissolving. He says that less children are dying which could possibly be mass wise, but because of our tainted system people are dying younger than in the past. I do not recommend this book unless you just want to hear how churches are growing all over the world.
