Red Gables, atmospherically Gothic on the outside, shiny and glamorous within, has a dark past. Not that the majority of the gang particularly care. With a wedding on the horizon, a blossoming new romance and some less than savoury agendas of their own, they each have enough on their mind this weekend.

Now that Josephine has Edward, she feels marginally less inadequate than usual. Not that her beautiful bride-to-be sister would know how that feels. Nor care. Not since that terrible day.

What everyone does care about is the way this house seems to cough up peculiarities at every turn. Including a mysterious housekeeper no one was expecting. Despite the distance between the sisters, Josephine knows something is wrong with the happily engaged couple. And she has her own part to play.

When cryptic messages turn threatening, the stakes are raised. Somebody is playing a dangerous game.

And one of them is a killer.

Who will survive the weekend? Who won’t?
