About this listen
When 18-year-old Regan accidentally kills her father, she discovers some startling truths.
First, she has the power of mind control.
Second, she must use it for evil or else suffer one of two fates: insanity or death. Her solution is
vigilante justice.
To atone for her sins, she vows to protect her classmates from The Three Musketcheers, a vicious
gang of cheerleaders who use lies, brute force, and blackmail as weapons in their quest to
dominate the school.
Unfortunately, every time Regan uses her gift, it develops a persona of its own—one she has
trouble controlling—leaving her to question whether she can save them without destroying
herself.

Loved the suspense
I loved listening to this book. The suspense when it came to Regan finding out what really is going on with her kept me on my toes. I felt so bad for her and all the guilt she felt about her dad. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

Great narrator and great storyline!
The narrator was pleasant to listen to and did a good job. The storyline was interesting and made me want to keep reading. The only reason why I gave the story a 4 instead of 5 was the emphasis that was put on all the characters superior appearance felt superficial. I found the female lead being petite, skinny, and strikingly beautiful while the male leads being handsome, tall, and with lean defined muscular physiques outdated and unrelatable.

I loved the realness!
Even though this is definitely a fantasy novel, the realness of the situations makes you excited to follow along with the story. I loved that the decisions Reagan made along the way were conflicted in a way that was true to the age of the character and that the problems she faced were more normal everyday teenager issues as well as her paranormal problems.
