About this listen
Wanton. . .Leo Roberts is next in line for an earldom and the power and fortune that come with it, but he is uncultured, unrefined - and completely untamed. . .until governess Ella Finch arrives upon the scene. Can so young and inexperienced a woman tutor him in the manners and mores of his class? Leo's mysterious past has rendered him an outsider, too wild for polite society. But he finds her innocence most intriguing. . .
Willing. . .What manner of man he may be, Ella does not know. Yet he fascinates her and she must know more. Capturing Leo's reckless heart is about to free her in ways she never dreamed of. . .and his sensual touch releases the deepest yearnings of her body and soul . . .

Wild Heart
This is the first Lori Brighton book I have read/listened to and I only gave it a try because of the narrator but I am so glad I did what a great book! I couldn't stop listening to this book and the narrator did an excellent job telling this story. I already downloaded the next book in the series and I can't wait to get started!
From the beginning the author hooked me. The characters are great both the good and the bad. There are a few twists I didn't see coming.
I recommend reading this series in order for maximum enjoyment.

Fantastic!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. Loved this story, loved the narration and it is a Whispersync special too.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Ella is strong and steadfast, even in her insecurities.
Which character – as performed by Ashford MacNab – was your favorite?
This is a toss up I loved how well she went between Leo's British and Colin's American accents.
Any additional comments?
I have a new fave female narrator.

Great..
Any additional comments?
Loved everything about this book: love, sex, adventure, murder and mayhem, it had it all. Loved Leo and Ella and Akshay Hated Henry. The only real problem I had was the use of blimey, Merda, blast and cazzarola (whatever that means.) They were used a little too often. Anyway, I really enjoyed this book and I'm going to buy the second one now.
As always, Ashford MacNab did a fabulous job with all the voices. She should think about giving lessons to some of these terrible narrators

Great idea, bad execution
What disappointed you about Wild Heart?
The hero was not likeable and the heroine was a doormat. I thought it would have been better if the characters had more about them to root for
Would you ever listen to anything by Lori Brighton again?
not sure, but no more of this series. Once was enough
Which scene was your favorite?
The scenes in the garden seem to have a lot of promise, but it never got there. It was a beautiful/romantic setting that was not used to full advantage.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Wild Heart?
I think the scenes where the hero (Leo) lost control . It was too much and even I could tell that soon no one would want him around or believe him about his parent's murder. It was like a rogue lion..yes his name is Leo, so not so subtle!
Also, the scene where the heroine finds a man searching her room. i kept saying out loud..just scream for help. Why don't women act logically. She was in a house with servants , but does not scream for help..I know I want to!!
Any additional comments?
I bought this book for the narrator, Ashford Macnabb. She is wonderful and I took a chance. Listening to her voice was the best part of this audio book.
It could also have been cut down a little to make it tighter and not so slow moving.
