About this listen

An armchair adventuress writing under a pen name accidentally sparks a crime with her debut novel.

It’s a good thing Rose Marie Addington is secretly courting a gunsmith who’s been working hard to teach her a thing or two about self-defense. However, secrets have a way of piling up and coming back to haunt a lady, especially in a small town like Cedar Falls, where everyone seems to know everything about everybody. Except her, of course.

Despite her fascination with reading and writing about happily-ever-afters, she worries if love is truly strong enough to conquer all in the harrowing real world.

I dislike the virtual voice reading, it often mispronounces words. And the lack of emotion is bleh! I love the book. The story was great and sweet!
I have a good imagination so I was able to mentally picture the emotions, totally no thanks to the virtual voice!

Another great book!
