When Kiernan leaves England, he hopes to unlock the secrets that could save his people from extinction. But the path to answers is fraught with danger. He never imagines what lay hidden in the Costa Rican rainforest.
Shortly after arriving, Kiernan encounters the human girl that he spent months yearning for. Kiernan must decide between his love for Meghan and his budding loyalty to his brother, Avery. He tries to place his brother first, until faced with an impossible decision.

Would you consider the audio edition of Wings of Memory to be better than the print version?
The narrator does a wonderful job with the story. I loved it in print but was so excited to listen to the audible version. The first book was awesome in audible and I was so thrilled that the same person did this one.Who was your favorite character and why?
Kiernan is my favorite cause he doesn't realize what a good guy he actually is and I love how protective of Meghan he isWhat about Meghan Lewis’s performance did you like?
I adore how she does the different voices for the different characters. She brings the story to lifeAny additional comments?

In this book (book 2), we get to travel to Costa Rica in the jungles. I love how the animals fit into this story too. This entire series so far has been fun. The author, Anna Kyss does a great job with our imaginations. I can actually see places and things as the story is read to me. This author is quite creative too. The narrator, Meghan Lewis delivers another flawless read to us complete with accents and emotions. I have to say, I find the narrators voice and reading style perfect for this series! Kudos to both of them for such great entertainment. I feel I envision a lot more in my heard by hearing the audio book rather than reading it myself as I am not as creative. I love the adventures I am traveling on with the author and I look forward to reading book 3 of this series.
I received this audio book as a gift in exchange for a honest and unbiased review.
What a great adventure...

Meghan Lewis, the narrator, did a great job of reading the characters so you always knew who was speaking with out needing to make exaggerating changes. There was one character who got on my nerves though, he spoke in a slow bored tone, which fit his character perfect, but he was still annoying!
Original spin on old "fairy" tales

I loved the mixture of romance and botanical lessons and history. It fit in so well into the background. AND of course the Magic is a great part of it.Who was your favorite character and why?
Kiernan was my favorite character. He has such a mixture of personalities. Stormy, kind, and gentle. Trying so hard to control his temper. What about Meghan Lewis’s performance did you like?
Meghan Lewis's performance was excellent bringing each character to live and with personality and holding those personalities throughout the book. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I did listen to it all in one sitting excet I had to put it down to eat dinner. While cooking I had it going so I did not have to wait long to see what was going to happen next or how they were going to resolve the next problem.Any additional comments?

I loved this book as much as the first one in the series, Wings of Shadow. I couldn't stop listening and even listened at work a bit! The story picks up about six months after Wings of Shadow ends. Kiernan travels to the Costa Rican rainforest in search of the source of his best friend Wish's magic, which will hopefully save his people back in England. After arriving, Kiernan runs into Meghan, the American girl whom he fell in love with in the first story before she returned to Portland. Meghan is currently studying abroad and specifically studying the medicinal properties of Costa Rican plants. Their mutual attraction to each other is impossible to resist and she brings out the best in Kiernan.
Kiernan's evil father follows them to Costa Rica and wrecks havoc wherever he goes. He infiltrates the safe haven where Kiernan and Meghan were perfecting their talents. After a murder and a kidnapping, Meghan and Kiernan return to Seattle and discover his father's influence is even there. This is where the book ends. And I can't wait for the next installment!
Meghan Lewis's narration is outstanding. She has great individual voices for each of the characters. Her pace and temperament simply bring Anna Kyss's characters to life. I can't imagine the characters sounding any differently. I truly hope she narrates the final book in this trilogy!
