About this listen

She’s a mom. A monster hunter. And now… the wielder of Excalibur.

Samantha Moon is back, and when the legendary Devil Killer sword becomes too dangerous to keep, she finds herself vulnerable in a world still teeming with demons. But one name keeps coming up: Excalibur.

What begins as a Google search turns into a globe-spanning quest to uncover the most magical weapon in history. With Allison Lopez and Kingsley at her side, Sam dives headfirst into the myths of King Arthur and the Lady of the Lake.

But this is no bedtime story. Deep beneath a haunted English lake lies a castle no one believes exists… and something inside is trying to get out.

When ancient monsters breach the castle walls and a trapped enchantress cries for help, Sam must fight her way through a supernatural siege and prove herself worthy of the sword that chooses its master. Because Excalibur isn’t just a weapon—it’s a responsibility.

And in Winter Moon, Samantha Moon will learn that sometimes the myths are real... and sometimes they choose you.

I liked the story, the narrative and the narration. I probably had a hard time focusing on the story because of the narration took my focus

I’m very impressed with the narration

Sam's stories are always a fun read/listening, but please, PLEASE stop the synthesized reader!!! The inflection is poor, so you can't tell who's speaking. Little to no emotion. Mispronunciation is frequent. (Who proof-listens to these before release?) As someone who read heavily, but now has to resort to Audible books, please don't ruin the experience.

How about a Human Reader? PLEASE!
