About this listen

After saving the Havershaw Islands from the threat of the ancient white dragon, Frostbite, the Six Fellows find themselves tied up in loose ends and old threads from the not-so-distant past. For Edalis Meric and Rebecca, the murder of Davin D'Avoneese comes back to haunt them as Davin's surviving sister, Nidalee D'Avoneese, appears with a secret order from within House D'Avoneese to conspire for revenge. To spare Edalis from an executioner's ax, Rebecca sacrifices her dreams of emancipation and freedom in a deal she very quickly regrets. Returned to the family of her former master and into the hands of Nidalee D'Avoneese, Rebecca becomes a helpless slave and pawn to be used in the games of a very powerful and very reclusive order of spell-casters known only as the Witches of Aether.

It quickly becomes Winter's personal mission then to rescue her adopted sibling, Rebecca, with the help of the others, Kenjin, Talia, and Wowen. Guided by the desire for family, Winter will stop at nothing to save the one she calls sister and sibling. Winter draws inspiration from the family she lost in battle and with her father's sword, "Wolf's Fang", she sets off to wage a personal war against those keeping Rebecca in bondage.

Drawn to stories of heroism and self-sacrifice, an aspiring squire, Caitlyn Adelaide, seeks to offer her services to an imprisoned Edalis. Taken by his stories, Caitlyn takes it upon herself to conduct her own investigations and soon proposes a theory that may clear the apprentice Stormcaster of murder and wrongdoing. The more she investigates though, the thicker the plot against Edalis and his beloved Rebecca gets. For justice and truth, Caitlyn Adelaide seeks to join the Six Fellows and put an end to the D'Avoneese conspiracy against the man she tries to love and the Six Fellows she hopes to call her family.
