About this listen
A bittersweet reunion. Time running out. Will forever slip from their fingers?
Nina Marie Robinson hates the idea she’ll end her life with one big regret. A motivational speaker who encourages women to celebrate their best lives, she’s still reeling from a medical emergency that revealed an incurable cancer diagnosis. And with only thirty days to live, she gathers her courage and asks her college sweetheart to join her on a vacation in the Bahamas.
Andrew McCall’s dream is within his grasp. On the verge of achieving his lifetime goal of tenure, the assistant professor is thrown off course when an old girlfriend invites him on a trip. And despite feelings that won’t stay buried, he’s hesitant about dropping everything for a former flame.
Pushed into revealing the truth about her illness, Nina is grateful when the strong but gentle academic decides to go. And while Andrew is determined to stick by her side until her final breath, he refuses to believe that their blossoming relationship is racing toward a heartbreaking end.
Can their love defy all odds or is this their last goodbye?

Good message
Wasn’t a fan of the virtual voice, but it was still a good read. Having faith will get you a long way!

Voice was just wrong
Story was pretty good though predictable. Voice inflections horrible at first, then times of raspiness, then better - a little more black but never good. Unfortunately, as you can see, while I did finish the book I focused mostly on the inappropriate voice.
