I did not think that the music was distracting at all. This is a program that I plan to continue.

Loved it!

Before I chose this audio program, I read many reviews commenting on the distracting music, so I went into listening very judgmental because of this, but I haven't found the music to be distracting or overtaking the running coaches voice at all. The music was not what I typically listen to, and I'm very picky about music, but I liked the music and found it to be motivating. The running coach does a good job motivating and also, most importantly for me, she continuously reminded me of form, foot landing, etc. I'd been walking/running for about a month before listening, and was up to 3 minutes at a time of running if I pushed myself, so I did the first two at one time very easily. The third is more of a strength workout like squats, etc . which I didn't do b/c I'm also starting to use my Bowflex and stretching/yoga/martial arts stretching again on days between the run/ walks. I did workout 5 today and felt like it was a good running workout for me personally, knowing the next one will require more endurance and I also did some yoga today (I couldn't keep up w/ the 20 year old instructor but did my best at 48!. You should give this audio a try if you are 1) Beginning a workout 2) Open to new ideas and experiences 3) Able to customize this to your needs if it doesn't quite fit. Thanks for reading and good luck!

Very helpful so far

OMG I love this so much! Usually I feel stupid having a recording praise me, but for some reason I really connected with this. The tips are easy to follow and there are places for the option to push yourself. Absolutely love this! Thank you for making it free.

Can’t believe this is Free!

it's like having a positive voice in your ear instead of that negative one that seems to always tell me this suck, lol

I was surprised to find that this workout guide was relatively engaging, not too sappy, very do-able even for my old overweight broken body, and got me going better than I've managed in a while. So, I gave it 4 stars all around. I am pleased enough that I've decided to continue with this series "Walk to Run One Mile". Wish me luck... On the down side, I couldn't download this to my phone, so I'll be hauling my laptop for now - guess I should talk to Tech Support about that.

First audio workout ever.

I enjoyed Jaime’s training. She did a great job giving verbal cues such as form and breathing. She also helped me with my breathing which is very important for me.

Easy start and great cues

This is a great way to learn to run. Slow and steady. My goal is to enter and finish a 5 K in the Spring.
