About this listen

Four friends, a special house, and a journey into sisterhood.

In a blink, you stepped over that half-a-century mark, and then, before you knew it, you’re considered a senior. How did that happen? It did. Too fast. Along the journey you got married, you had children, they became adults, you became a grandmother, your parents grew old and passed away, and now, you’re next on the journey to the end.
All this is expected, except your relationship with a significant other. You’ve been a close couple for decades, then suddenly things change. Maybe with your significant other or you’re suddenly living alone. Nothing is the same. Whatever the reason, you wonder what’s left? Can you be more alive and not just living? Can there be more adventure? I’m here to say, yes, it can.

In this women’s fiction, Anne loved her life. She had a wonderful husband, children, and grandchildren. Suddenly, she was widowed and searching for something more...searching for herself.

When she sells her home and moves eight hundred miles away to her dream house on the beach, it will take the love and support of her sisters, her best friends, to help her convince those she left behind that she wasn't running away. She's running to a new life and new adventures.

Poor AI Narration

Story over was sweet you had to pay attention to the names
Because AI couldn’t keep the names straight & literally stumbled through words & often repeating the words.

Great story, poorly computer generated voice.

I loved the story, but did not like the computer generated narration at all. So disappointing. From now on, I will take note of “narration”, and surpass those novels.

Cute story of women aging

It was quite annoying listening to the computer try to read the story. It just can’t read the story like a human would. Example: Read(reed)/Read(red). So many more annoying problems. I’m sure it is cheaper than hiring a human to read the story but this reader will never purchase a book read by a computer again.

Loved it,

Being of that age I loved it. Great story, hated for it to end, wish it has a continuing book . Took a bit to get used to the virtual voice. Other than that it was wonderful

Great book, virtual voice did not impress

I loved the story!I wish it had been narrated by an actual person. The sentences were started and stopped at the wrong times, there was not the emotion a human could have put into it. I will be careful not to buy books with virtual voice in the future.
The author wrote a wonderful story with characters that I could connect to. I could visualize them and feel for them.
