Enjoyed it!
I'm not sure if I enjoyed this book more because I am similar a woman of similar age and have also lived in Chicago and New York so therefore felt a connection, or if Amy Poehler is just a great entertainer to all. I'm thinking the latter. I got this in audio formate and it was great.

Great First Audiobook
I really liked this book and loved the fact that it was narrated by Amy herself. Although I didn't understand a lot of the references and celebrity names, I still really enjoyed it and recommend.

Amy is Bae
Amy Poehler is the queen and the insights into life that she shares are uplifting and inspiring and never fail to invoke a response I me, whether I hysterically laugh, feel proud and confident, or wise and reflective. Amy Poehler achieves what any good biography should and entirely captures her beautiful essence.

Funny, charming and wise
Yes Please is lovely.
Honestly. Lovely is the word that came to mind most often while listening to Amy Poehler’s stories about her childhood, career and relationships.
She is unfailingly generous about her friends and colleagues, yet self-deprecating and refreshingly honest about her own flaws.
She exudes unbridled joy and boundless enthusiasm for comedy as both an art form and means of connection.
Her observations about kindness, gratitude and self-love are earnest, and without any trace of cynicism.
Plus she’s also, you know, funny.
The guests narrators were wonderful additions. In particular, the sections with Seth Meyers and Michael Schur shone with warmth, affection and mutual respect.
This is a memoir Leslie Knope might have written had she grown up in blue-collar Boston, dabbled a little in mind-altering substances, and chosen entertainment over public service.
And if Amy Poehler ever writes another book, I will happily say Yes Please.

Finished in a Day!
Entertaining and touching. Didn't want it to end. Although there's a lot of Hollywood references, there's a lot of family sentiment and realism to keep it down to earth and relatable. Well done Amy!
