About this listen
Find inspiration in this unique, witty guide on how to turn your house into a home that will have your friends asking: “Who is your designer?!”
When you look around your home, are you proud of what you see?
Or are your thoughts more along the lines of, “Who lives here?” or, “Where did all of this stuff come from? Do we even use half this junk?”
Let’s face it – over the last few years, the world has changed a lot, and because of this, so has the way we use our homes. Way more people than ever before are working from home, and it looks like this may just be the “new normal” we all have to embrace.
Because of this, it is high time you stop merely existing in your house and start enjoying your home as the sanctuary it was meant to be.
And this book is exactly what you need to guide you through every step of the process.
Written by an everyday couple who have a passion for design. Lucan–who has a background in architecture, set design, and film production–and Nusheek–who is an artist by trade–want to share with you what they learned through trial and error. This book is a relatable and easy-to-follow guide on how to transform your space into a home you (and all your friends) want to live in.
Whether you are a complete design novice or you are merely looking for new, innovative ideas to liven up your home, this book is perfect for you.
By following the numerous tips and tricks throughout, your home will become the envy of your friends and family…and they may even ask you to help them with their own home design projects! If you are ready to transform your house into a home you truly love spending time in, then scroll up and hit “Add to Cart” now.

Is bourbon the quintessential American liquor? Bourbon is not just alcohol - the amber-colored drink is deeply ingrained in American culture and tangled in American history. From the early days of raw corn liquor to the myriad distilleries that have proliferated around the country today, bourbon is a symbol of the United States. This course traces bourbon's entire history, from the 1700s, with Irish, Scottish, and French settlers setting up stills and making distilled spirits in the New World, through today's booming resurgence.

We live in a world of seeds. From our morning toast to the cotton in our clothes, they are quite literally the stuff and staff of life, supporting diets, economies, and civilizations around the globe. Just as the search for nutmeg and the humble peppercorn drove the Age of Discovery, so did coffee beans help fuel the Enlightenment and cottonseed help spark the Industrial Revolution. And from the fall of Rome to the Arab Spring, the fate of nations continues to hinge on the seeds of a Middle Eastern grass known as wheat.

Fantastic!
I am not an interior decorator person. I can see rooms/designs that are well done and appreciate them, but cannot do myself... it is a true art form. Several years ago 2 ladies came into my home and consulted on 3 rooms. They gave me a to-do list and they had theirs. A month later they came back (with their husband to do the heavy lifting) and we left... they decorated the rooms with 80% of my stuff and a few things they brought. We came back 2 hours later for the reveal.. it was STUNNING. This book is like being in the minds of those two ladies. I still don't think I could really do it, but I am SO much farther along than I was before. Truly, this book is how they must think to do the amazing work they do. Thank you for giving me insight into how people with this gift process things!! Really fun to listen to and LOTS of great ideas!!

Discovering my home's true style
Diving into this book opened my eyes to a new way of thinking about home design. I was particularly drawn to the concept of wabi-sabi, which celebrates the beauty in imperfections. This approachable guide has inspired me to look at my home in a new light, focusing on personal expression rather than fleeting trends. It's been a refreshing journey to create a living space that's genuinely 'me'.

This Audio Is Awesome
I was thinking of changing my home decor, well now I have learned from this that I already have done a nice job and I just need to get rid of some clutter and it will feel much better to me. I did think a lot about the lighting and I did do a great job with that as well. Colors were interesting, maybe I can bring a little more color in. Overall this is a really nice audio, it is very helpful, it is very well written and the narrator was bright and cheery and excited it seems taking about this subject! I loved it! Thank you, I now have an interest in my home again!

Perfect Guide
"Your Friends Want to Live Here" does a great job of walking you through step by step and making things feel accessible. I learned so much from listening and am excited to start making some changes to my space. I also just bought it for my sister who is going through some major life changes and could use a change in her space as well. Highly recommend for both new and experienced designers looking for a different perspective.
