I’ve tried picking up piano a few times, but I always got discouraged. These books made it feel doable from day one. The pace was just right—not too slow, not too fast—and the exercises actually felt rewarding. I’m halfway through Volume 2 now and can play a few simple songs without looking like I’m guessing every note. It’s nice to finally enjoy learning instead of stressing out. I am interested in learning how to play the piano as well as how to read sheet music. Never had the time or the opportunity. Now I do and this is a tremendous resource for learning all things piano. The book is geared toward beginners which I love because I don't understand anything when it comes to the piano. This book is easy to understand and follow. I'm not Mozart yet but I think I'm at least on the right track. I spend just 20-30 minutes each day and the keys are starting to become more familiar and my fingers are definitely getting stronger.
