About this listen

Your emotions might betray you. The Band won’t. That is their promise.
Too bad it's true.

Tony and I are practically newlyweds. Honestly, I love him so much I ache.
That's why I would’ve never guessed he’d do anything to jeopardize what we have.

So when he brings home expensive new technology called Your Perfect Match wristbands, comped by his new clients Quantum Match Inc., I think nothing of it when he says, “Let’s wear them, just to test them.”

But...

I never thought he would care about the results.

I didn’t think he’d ask for space to “process his match.”

And I never imagined he’d be capable of doing what he has done to me.

But our story isn’t merely one about how my husband, who may be a cheater and a gaslighter, or perhaps also a victim of new technology, is making me think I'm losing my mind. This is about me, and the fire I'm being forced to walk through.

This is a spiraling and a reckoning. And one of us won’t come out of this the same.

Perfect for fans of disruptive new matchmaking technology such as The One by John Marrs and the fast-paced storytelling style of Freida McFadden, Your Perfect Match is a poignant and truly unique tale of betrayal and the fight to discover what truly matters.

I enjoyed the story enough to listen to the entire thing, but I did not like the Virtual Voice narration. It's not horrible, but some words were pronounced incorrectly; for example, rerecord should be REE-reh-cord but it was reh-reh-cord. "I got straight As" should be long A but was read "as." "I got straight as." Some sentences just didn't come across right because word emphasis is lacking. It's enough to be a constant distraction. I won't listen to another Virtual Voice again - there are so many amazing narrators that I just can't support AI narration.

Story great, narration not
