Words. We use them all the time, every day, mostly without giving them much thought at all. We take for granted that they’re here at our disposal whenever we need them. But if you’ve ever wished you could communicate more effectively, words are the place to start. It’s incumbent upon you to choose the best words to accomplish your goals, because how you choose to communicate influences—well, everything! The power of communication shapes our professional goals, our relationships, and our lives—so the words we choose to use carry a great deal of power.

Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Identify issues and work on self improvment
For many of us, we know there is some nagging issue or trauma deep inside. Others, however, may not even know why they suffer or how they could even recover and feel better. In Your Shadow Self, the author describes how the 'inner child' can hold onto trauma and issues long into adulthood. By identifying and working through some of these deep-seated issues, you might be able to live more honestly with yourself and lose any trauma strings holding you back.
The chapter I found most useful was about creating healthier relationships. When you start to heal, you will be able to focus on others more clearly and thus have stronger relationships with everyone, family and friends. I would really recommend this book, you never know how it could help.

Creating a pragmatic approach to reprogramming
It’s not enough to just want a better life, one has to get into the depths of the subconscious and unwind traumas and hurts that are controlling our behavior in the current day. And it’s no easy task. However, Luna Grace has given listeners a fasttrack to releasing old behavioral and limiting thought patterns by adding a unique and new twist to the shadowwork genre by offering cognitive techniques and even borrows CBT skills from the world of psychology-such a cool approach to the usually more spiritual approaches out there.
