Binaural beats are an auditory phenomenon that occurs when two slightly different frequencies are presented to each ear, creating the perception of a third frequency—a "beat"—within the brain. This beat is not an actual sound but a result of the brain interpreting the difference between the two frequencies. This process can influence brainwave activity, guiding the mind into various states, such as relaxation, focus, or deep sleep.

Experience a bold take on this classic autobiography as it’s performed by Oscar-nominated Laurence Fishburne. In this searing classic autobiography, originally published in 1965, Malcolm X, the Muslim leader, firebrand, and Black empowerment activist, tells the extraordinary story of his life and the growth of the Human Rights movement. His fascinating perspective on the lies and limitations of the American dream and the inherent racism in a society that denies its non-White citizens the opportunity to dream, gives extraordinary insight into the most urgent issues of our own time.

Based on seven years of ground-breaking research and hundreds of interviews, I Thought It Was Just Me shines a long-overdue light on an important truth: Our imperfections are what connect us to each other and to our humanity. Our vulnerabilities are not weaknesses; they are powerful reminders to keep our hearts and minds open to the reality that we're all in this together.

Story
The Strange Death of Europe is a highly personal account of a continent and culture caught in the act of suicide. Declining birth rates, mass immigration, and cultivated self-distrust and self-hatred have come together to make Europeans unable to argue for themselves and incapable of resisting their own comprehensive alteration as a society and an eventual end.

Yummy Food for Your Tummy
I love food, and love trying new things from different cultures. "Yum?" is an audiobook filled with engaging stories and facts about different kinds of food from different kinds of cultures. I like that it is presented in a way that is perfect for either children or adults as it is both entertaining and educational. If you have family that loves food or you plan on going on a food trip journey across the world or across the state, have a listen to this while traveling. It's a great way to learn about the world and the diverse food around us. For example, it was interesting learning about the first breakfast sandwich ever created or at least made popular. You'll learn about corndogs, tacos, bagels, mac & cheese, and more!

The narator is a riot. What a fun book!
This may be the one for you if you need a fun, engaging book. The author discusses a bunch of fun food facts and straightens out facts from myths. Some of you may have heard before that French fries were not created in France, but then there were a bunch of things I had never heard of, like how a legal prohibition led to boiled bread and our modern-day bagel. The narrator is also a highlight of this book. He is incredibly expressive and sounds like he is having fun as he reads the book. This book is informative and super fun at the same time. It is an excellent listen!

Each meal became an opportunity to share cool facts about the food on our plates, like why donuts have holes or how popcorn became a movie snack. The trivia is fascinating and made us appreciate everyday foods in a whole new way. It’s a great book for curious minds and anyone who loves learning while they eat!
