Bill Gertz
New York Times best-selling author and veteran Washington Times columnist explains how the United States can beat China, Russia, Iran, and ISIS in the coming information-technology wars.
America is at war, but most of its citizens don't know it.
Covert information warfare is being waged by world powers, rogue states - such as Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea - and even terrorist groups like ISIS. This conflict has been designed to defeat and ultimately destroy the United States.
This new type of warfare is part of the Information Age that has come to dominate our lives. In iWar, Bill Gertz describes how technology has completely revolutionized modern warfare, how the Obama administration failed to meet this challenge, and what we can and must do to catch up and triumph over this timely and important struggle.

I would recommend reading the venona files along with this. It clearly documents that America is under a full covert assault. And it's time Americans acknowledge it and fight back for the sake of freedom
A must read.

Would you try another book from Bill Gertz and/or Danny Campbell?
No - upon further research I see that Bill Gertz (working for the Washington Free Beacon) is not the most unbiased of writers. In fact, from the first chapter you notice that he has a visceral hatred for Liberals, Muslims, China, and Russia (in that order). Rather than being an informative book on information warfare, the author uses this as a demonstration on how you can twist the truth and leave out pertinent facts in an attempt to spread disinformation. This is not journalistic integrity. What do you think your next listen will be?
I'm looking for fact based books. Some bias is expected but far extremes are not tolerated. What didn’t you like about Danny Campbell’s performance?
He reads it like I expect the author wrote it - angry. You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
If you aren't interested in the details, it covers some general issues with information warfare and the west's inability to push a false narrative in it's own favor.Any additional comments?
I quit listening early on. Maybe it got better, but I honestly felt I couldn't trust the validity of the information based on the anger and hatred in the first couple of chapters coupled with the authors (and his employer's) reputation.Rather biased and not overly detailed
