About this listen

 ２０１７年に成立した民法の一部改正が、２０２０年４月から施行された。１８９６（明治２９）年に制定され１２０年間にわたり専門家の解釈や判例の蓄積により補われてきた。法律の条文を見てもわかりづらく、ビジネスの現実には適用しづらいものになっていた。そこで、契約に関する「債権法」を大幅に見直し、これまでの解釈や判例によるルールを明確化したのである。そのほか、同じ民法において、国民的な関心を集める改正相続法のほか、企業活動や私たちの日々の働き方に直結する労働法についても、法律の専門家に詳しく解説してもらう。
