河合 敦(かわい あつし)
1965年東京都町田市生まれ。
青山学院大学文学部史学科卒業。早稲田大学大学院博士課程単位取得満期退学(日本史専攻)。現在、多摩大学客員教授。早稲田大学で非常勤講師もつとめる。著書は『早わかり日本史』(日本実業出版社)、『逆転した日本史』(扶桑社新書)、『渋沢栄一と岩崎弥太郎』(幻冬舎新書)、など多数。その他「歴史探偵」(NHK)、「世界一受けたい授業」(日本テレビ)、NHKラジオ「ごごカフェ」などテレビやラジオにも多数出演。NHK時代劇の時代考証も多く手がける。

房野史典(ぼうの ふみのり)
1980年岡山県生まれ。名古屋学院大学卒業。
お笑いコンビ「ブロードキャスト!!」のツッコミ担当。
無類の戦国好きで、歴史好き芸人ユニット「ロクモンジャー」を結成するなど、意欲的に歴史普及活動を行っている。子どもたちに歴史の面白さを教える授業(YouTube『STUDY FREAK』など)も好評で、歴史専門家からの信頼も厚い。
著書に『笑って泣いてドラマチックに学ぶ 超現代語訳 戦国時代』『笑えて、泣けて、するする頭に入る 超現代語訳 幕末物語』『13歳のきみと、戦国時代の「戦」の話をしよう。』(幻冬舎刊)、『時空を超えて面白い! 戦国武将の超絶カッコいい話』(三笠書房刊)がある。
