The trauma and abuse they experienced left deep scars, and the pain still echoes through the generations. But communities are creating positive change. Today these people are recognised as survivors of the Stolen Generations. - في أحد أكثر الفصول إيلامًا من تاريخ أستراليا، فُصل آلاف الأطفال من السكان الأصليين وسكان جزر مضيق توريس قسرًا عن عائلاتهم، في إطار سياسات هدفت إلى دمجهم قسرًا في مجتمعات غير أصلية. تلك الممارسات، التي بدأت بعد الاستيطان الأوروبي، خلّفت جروحًا نفسية عميقة لا تزال آثارها تتردد حتى اليوم. لكن رغم صدمة الماضي، بدأت المجتمعات المتضررة مسيرة التعافي واستعادة الهوية. هؤلاء يُعرفون اليوم بـ"الناجين من الأجيال المسروقة".
