Affections play a crucial role in a man's enslavement to devils and evil spirits. While we may like to think that we are victims of hell’s manipulations and afflictions, the truth is that every victim is a willing participant in their own enslavement, having willingly yielded their affections to the very things that are associated with hell and its oppressions.

In this March 2025 Special Programme, Pastor Jeffrey Walter opens our eyes to the spiritual principles and dynamics that define hell. In this episode, “The Warfare”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter teaches further on the role that affections play in a man's enslavement to devils and evil spirits. He explains how devils and evil spirits enslave and wall us roundabout using rationalizations, i.e., false reasonings and belief systems. He goes on to show how an enslaved man cannot save himself, except by the agency of a High Priest (Jesus, the Saviour), who is able to deliver us through our obedience and repentance. He ends on a note of encouragement, admonishing that we do not yield to the wiles of the enemy, but rather fight hard against the hell’s worst, until we lay hold of our promised victory.

Beloved, though the enemy may come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord (your High Priest) is able to raise up a standard against him. Stay in the fight! Battle the enemy relentlessly through your obedience and repentance, until the Lord transforms your evil affections . Do not give up. Your freedom is nigh!
