  • Summary

  • Buy me a coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/cuentososcuros The famous writer Mark Twain was born in 1835, coinciding with one of the times when Halley's Comet came closest to Earth. For this reason, Twain believed he had come into the world along with the comet. In 1909, Twain expressed his 'concern' about the comet's upcoming visit, which was expected the following year. He voiced his fear and hope of leaving this world in the same way he had arrived, accompanied by the celestial body. Curiously, Twain died of a heart attack on April 21, 1910, just one day after Halley's closest approach to Earth.
