    This week’s guest is Raisah Ahmed, writer and director of film and television, and chair of the Industry Advisory Committee for the Glasgow Short Film Festival. She has a feature film in development with Film4 and is adapting Ayesha’s Gift for television with Freedom Scripted, as well as having a laundry list of credits to her name. She is a champion of the Scottish South Asian community and works tirelessly to bring stories by South Asian artists for South Asian audiences to our screens. We chatted about schemes for entry level artists, the difference between working for free and asking people to work for free, being given the chance to fail in our work, and the idea of having a self-sufficient industry
