After graduation, he and his wife moved to Florida, where he worked for the largest cow-calf operation in the country. He later returned to Idaho to join Idaho AgCredit, where he originated and underwrote farm and ranch loans.A lifelong student of business and investing, Avery immersed himself in the teachings of Dave Ramsey, Robert Kiyosaki, and the BiggerPockets community. Despite years of analysis paralysis, he eventually found his niche in hard money lending and commercial real estate. Today, he owns and operates a hard money lending company in Idaho and has originated nearly $15 million in loans.
