Professor Brian S. Peskin is a leading scientist globally recognized as the expert on essential fatty acids (EFAs) and has advanced the work of Nobel Prize-winner Otto Warburg in the area of cellular oxygenation.

A graduate of MIT, Professor Peskin has combined his extensive knowledge of engineering, biochemistry, and physiology to create Life-Systems Engineering Science (L.S.E.). This innovative field, founded in 1995, leverages natural processes to achieve desired health outcomes, a principle that MIT has embraced to drive scientific breakthroughs.

In 2002, he began extensive research on the relationship of PEOs to cardiovascular disease.
