 The biggest news this week was that one of India’s leading director’s Rajkumar Hirani was accused of sexual harassment. 

Priya Prakash Varrier, whom you might recognize as the wink girl, is making her Hindi film debut with a suspense thriller called Sridevi Bungalow.

Taapsee Pannu took to the media to express her displeasure at being unceremoniously dropped from the remake of the 1978 Sanjeev Kumar hit Pati Patni aur Woh. 

Uri is a hit. The film notched up impressive numbers at the box office but the makers also found a clever way of dissuading would be pirates.

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan Akhtar – the duo that gave us Bhaag Milkha Bhaag – are back together for Toofan, which Farhan described as the ‘heartfelt journey of a boxer.’ 

The teaser for Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly’s film Moothon dropped this week. The film has been written and directed by Geetu Mohandas while Anurag Kashyap has penned the Hindi dialogue. I can’t wait to see this.
