About this listen
It’s often said that the fear of public speaking is second only to the fear of death itself.
If this is even close to true I find it incredibly sad - how many people are not speaking up, and not contributing their insights and knowledge to the world just because they’re scared something bad might happen?
In this special episode of Speaking with Confidence with Cat Matson I’m sharing a snippet of my recent Speaking with Impact workshop series. In this particular workshop (which was part 2 of 3), I explore what we’re really scared of when we feel we’re scared of speaking in public, and how to manage it.
Listen in to hear:
- What we REALLY fear when it comes to public speaking
- How we can manage our nerves
- The simple techniques for reframing that fear
- How, by prioritising on connection, you can minimise that feeling of fear
- Why your own personal stories can be your most powerful antidote to fear
