176. The Murder of Christine Jessop and Wrongful Conviction of Guy Paul Morin

  • Summary

  • On October 3, 1984 a 9-year-old girl named Christine Jessop got off her bus and went home from school. By the time that her mom and her brother got home though Christine was gone. It was nearly three months that the family went without any answers and then Christine's body was found and it was evident that she had been murdered and sexually assaulted. What would ensue was frankly an absolute farce of an investigation that would see two trials and then see Guy Paul Morin wrongfully convicted and imprisoned. This story has a lot of twists and turns and thankfully the question of who killed Christine Jessop has finally been answered but only after thoroughly destroying the life of another man.
