Le 11 novembre 1918, l’armistice qui met fin aux combats de la première guerre mondiale, est signé dans un wagon, la voiture n° 2419D qui a été transformée pour servir de bureau au maréchal Foch. Ce wagon, auparavant utilisé pour transporter des passagers, devient donc un lieu historique.
