ランチの約束をした桜新町の洋食店で、慧と聡子は、老婆、寧々と出会う。寧々は元々は気仙沼出身で、あの震災を機に東京に出てきて孫娘の萌夫婦と同居している。寧々は、死んだ夫、哲夫に毎日、メールをしている。勿論返事は来ない。それを不憫に思った慧はアレク氏に時空を超えて生きている哲夫にメールを届けてあげられないかと直訴する。15年前の哲夫にはそのメールを見て、とある行動に出る。時空を超えたハートウォーミングエピソード。
