Michele and Julie are close sisters and Michele was “inclusive before inclusive was cool”. She started her preschool for intellectually and physically challenged children blended with intellectually typical children from birth to five years old in 1997. Michele expanded those services to in-house therapy and visits to serve children from birth to three years old. She retired in 2022 and Michele currently owns several businesses with her husband, one being a horse ranch. Michele discusses her journey in founding Special Kare for Special Kids, a program providing inclusive education for children with special needs. She shares her experiences, challenges, and the importance of community support and faith. Michele offers advice to aspiring entrepreneurs, emphasizing resilience and the pursuit of passion.
