如果你想和圣灵交往，首先你必须认识到即使是在神面前有一丁点的罪孽，那么和神交往就是不可能的。你或许会想，“怎样才能做到在神面前没有一丁点罪呢？”但如果你真心希望和神交往，那么你的内心就没有了黑暗。因此，如果想和神交往，你应当知道我们必须相信赎罪的福音，并洗清你所有的罪孽。
如果真想和圣灵交往，你应首先认识和相信水和圣灵的福音，并通过信仰洗清了你的罪孽。如果你不识水和圣灵的福音，不在内心接纳它，那么你甚至不应想到和神交往。只有通过水和圣灵福音从内心洗清了所有罪孽后才有可能和圣灵交往。
