首先，讓我們閱讀一下聖經馬太福音第5章第3節，耶穌說:
“虛心的人有福了！因爲天國是他們的。”主說“虛心的人有福”意思是說他只把天堂賜予那些在精神上虛心的人。
他的教訓“虛心的人有福了”是真理。確實如此。耶穌所說精神上虛心的人對這個世界不滿足，因此，他們接受主賜予他們的拯救。如果你的精神不滿足世俗物質，你才有可能在心裏接受他藉水和聖靈賜予你的赦罪。正因如此，他說如果你在精神上虛心，天國就屬於你的了。神把赦罪和天國賜予那些精神上虛心的人。
