  • The Sadducees do not believe in the resurrection. As it is written in Mark 12:18-23, some of the Sadducees came to Jesus to test Him with a complicated question. But this is not the focus of today’s sermon.
    Let’s go down a bit and read verses 26 and 27: “But concerning the dead, that they rise, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the burning bush passage, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. You are therefore greatly mistaken.” I would like to focus on this passage today.
