  • The Tabernacle itself was constructed with 48 boards; twenty boards each for the south and north sides, six boards of the west side, and two boards for the two back corners. Each board measured 4.5 m (15 feet) in length and about 67.5 cm (2.2 feet) in width. For each board to stand upright, there were two silver sockets and two tenons that fitted correctly together. This shows us again that God’s salvation is given only by His grace through faith in Christ.
