  • In today’s Scripture passage from the Book of Genesis, God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” As we look at this passage, we can see that God truly didn’t want to live by Himself, but instead, He wanted to forever enjoy the glory together with those of us who believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. God didn’t want to live alone in His world, but rather, He wanted to live together with us. Our God wanted to render grace of salvation to sinners and to live together with them amidst eternal glory. God didn’t want to live by Himself in the Kingdom of God. Thus, God revealed His profound intention by making Adam a helper comparable to him and stating that it is not good that Adam should be alone.
